It took me a long time to get the courage to paint this image of my late grandpa, but Idid it and i am proud of it. It captures his essense perfectly. I wish he was here to see it. I want to share his love and greatness with the world.

Creating a beautiful sunset scene!
I have been working with Maya Ocean and sky textures, also building envrironments using height maps…WIP
Well its been a couple months now and now I got a team of us working on this zombe defence game …it’s been really fun! Here are some images of a rocky mountian terrian that I have been building with a height field/displacement map in Maya….hopefully the zombies will go through this mountian path and the turrets/oblesisks/cannons and destroy them as they make there way through the mountian!

take that zombies!

zombie killa turret
Well gettin’ some textures going and some lighting…i think i might use this island and incorporate it in the zombie defence game somehow….mmmm kill two birds with one stone….exxxxcellent. (although I would hate to do that in real life!) hahaha
This guy I know in my singing group “Sing City” is a professional 2d animator who owns his own company and he’s looking to build a team for this game pitch that he wants to send to Capcom I believe.
He is kinda new to 3D and he’s looking for a team of artists who would be interested in helping him on the pitch for the game. I’ve already spoken with him several times about this. He already has great reference drawings, and working on a script. He is also in close contact with programmers at EA. The game that he’s wanting to do is similar to a Super Mario Bros/Sonic The Hedge Hog/Crash Bandicoot type of thing. His main character is a “ScubaCat” that goes through different levels and battles bog monster’s and underwater villains!

After much troubleshooting, nail biting, sweating, kicking my computer and praying…i actually got the video’s completed on time. I am just awaiting the professor’s return from Edmonton so I hope that my videos added a whole new layer to their presentation…
So check out my logic videos!
here are the latest pics of my SFU lattice project…ehhhh 2 more models to come in 2 days hopefully….
and then here is my updated video of the project:
last night I was working more on getting the alpha channels going underneath the nodes. Alpha channels are fun… you really get used to the “select” and “select inverse” tool in photoshop. Ahhhh and of course the lovely “paintbucket tool”.
I think i will be having photoshop nightmares tonight!
Hellllo.
Ahhhh glad to be back!
Well currently I am working on a couple of projects here and there. One of course being the zombie defence game yay!
Secondly, I was asked by a professor at Simon Fraser University to build a lattice model. I believe it is for a logic conference in Calgary that’s coming up quite soon.
So i’m just pluggin’ away at building that. I need to make some mod’s on the model and add some alpha channels underneath each node so that people know what’s what!
Here is the WIP video:
more to come lata!:)
